The Lancia Delta Group A is a Group A rally auto manufactured for the Martini Lancia by Lancia to contend in the World Rally Championship. It is based upon the Lancia Delta street car and supplanted the Lancia Delta S4. The car was presented for the 1987 World Rally Championship season and has commanded the World Rally Championship, scoring 46 WRC triumphs general and winning the constructors’ title a record six times consecutively from 1987 to 1992, notwithstanding drivers’ title titles for Juha Kankkunen (1987 and 1991) and Miki Biasion (1988 and 1989).
Lancia Delta Integrale 16V was made for Group A, introduced in 1989 as a replacement for 8v, used throughout the 1990 season by Juha Kankkunen and features four wheel drive, with 300HP engine.
