The Gillet Vertigo Pikes Peak is a unique model designed by Automobiles Gillet to compete in the 2018 hillclimb. With Vanina Ickx (daughter of Jacky Ickx) behind the wheel, the car finished 34th overall, 6th in the Time Attack 1 category and 1st rookie.
The 100% Belgian-designed racecar is powered by a 2.0L 4-cylinder TFSI with 380 horsepower and has a sequential 6-speed paddle-shift Quaife gearbox. The carbon fiber chassis allows the car to only weigh 925kg. It is managed by a Bosch Motorsport calculator and has a MoTeC instrument cluster and PDM for full telemetry.
The car has been driven during set-up testing, race testing and the race itself. All components are functional and in perfect condition. It is eligible for hillclimbing competitions and is notably pre-selected to take part at Pikes Peak. It has a 95 litre tank and can therefore be adapted for trackday and endurance.
Support for use and setup is included in the purchase. Additional parts (spare engine, bodywork, moulds, etc) can be added to the package. Other services (modifications, race assistance, maintenance) are also possible.
