What better way to understand the history of this magnificent car than to read the few lines of the owner and preparer (below).

Volkswagen-Audi-NSU dealer in the 1970s, I combined the work side and the pleasure side by building a very powerful NSU TT 1300 Group 2 in order to participate in the hill climbs of the “French Mountain Championship”.

From that time I have always kept a deep nostalgia for this little bomb ... In 2017, 50 years later, I had fun rebuilding a TT identical to the model prepared by my friend Louis Meznarie, famous wizard NSU / Porsche which notably raced Gérard Larrousse on the circuit.
I bought this TT original configuration from a friend who had owned it since 2008 and whose 5 previous owners are identified. The detailed inspection showed a very healthy body, with no signs of rust or accidents.

I did not set a budget limit for this operation, but only one goal, to achieve a beautiful and efficient car. All the bodywork was carried out at Auto Passion located near Clermont-Ferrand, specialist in the old ones: installation of the bolted arch with reinforcement under the body, creation of polyester molds identical to the time and installation on the bodywork after cutting the original wings.
The electrical harness has been completely rebuilt with fuses and relays in the glove box for easier access. The dashboard as well as the 6 rims were bought in Germany, at a golden price!
On the engine side, Établissements Clément sa intervened for the low engine, the Sodémo at Magny Cours for the work on the cylinder heads and for the assembly, my friend Hubert Fialkowski, the only current preparer recognized in France: together we chose the best parts of at SPIESS and SAELZER in Germany.
Hubert Fialkowski, former TT driver, took all the necessary care in order to achieve, as for him, a very successful vehicle: close-ratio gearbox, final torque for circuit and rally, dual ignition, 4 in 1 exhaust with particular design for a excellent performance and maximum heat removal.

Lightness was the common thread in the realization of the whole. Optimized gearbox control guidance and special reinforced engine mounts for excellent engine / gearbox stability.

In 2019, after 2 years of discussions, I finally obtained the famous FIA / FFSA passport validated by an approved commissioner.
