1965 Ford Mustang HT (Historic Racer)
Historic racing is tough, and a winning car is even tougher! Here we have a 1965 Ford Mustang with a fresh 289cid V8 engine set up to period specifications, delivering around 360hp. This, together with a manual gearbox, not only sounds tough but has also given this Mustang a string of victories on tracks here at home, as well as good results abroad.
The car is correctly set up for the period F -1962-1965 and has valid FIA approval until 31 December 2027.
Based on a "standard" Mustang, set up for historic racing. So well built and well set up that it won the Norwegian championship in 2013, 2014 and 2015. (List to be updated) It has several other victories, including the races it competed in last year. It is quite simply a winning car!
The car is driven by Erik and Christina Dobloug.
Well and professionally maintained (documentation for most parts available).
The engine was overhauled about two years ago and now delivers approx. 360 hp. The engine has been extensively upgraded by a well-known specialist.
