Introduction
July activity increased across the marketplace
July was not at all a holiday at racemarket, with sellers having published 78 new listings across the network, compared with 64 in June — a 22% increase in newly available inventory.
The inventory published during the month carried more than €5 million in recorded asking prices. That figure represents the combined numerical asking value of new listings rather than completed sales, and it excludes listings offered without a numerical price.
Buyer behaviour followed supply. The listings published in July generated 521 buyer enquiries sent directly to sellers, and four of newly added listings have since been marked as sold.

Concentration
Where are listings coming from?
As July's listings were highly diverse, with no single car model appearing frequently enough to stand out, this month we will focus instead on the geographic distribution of listings by country.

| 01 | Italy | 11 |
| 02 | France | 10 |
| 03 | Spain | 8 |

Balance
Supply meets demand
Supply is what sellers choose to publish. Demand is what buyers search for. The two rarely align perfectly, and the gap between them is where pricing pressure and opportunity appear.

July market observation
More supply, stable demand.
July saw a clear increase in marketplace supply, with 78 new listings published, up 22% from June, while their combined recorded asking value rose 17% to more than €5 million. Rally remained the strongest category, accounting for both the largest share of new listings and buyer searches.
Buyer activity, however, remained broadly stable. The 521 recorded enquiries were virtually unchanged from June, while visitor numbers declined slightly by 1.5%. This indicates that seller activity increased faster than measurable buyer engagement during the month.
Geographically, July's inventory remained highly diverse, led by Italy, France and Spain, with no single vehicle model dominating the month's listings. Overall, July was characterised by stronger supply, stable demand and continued broad international activity across the marketplace.
Measurement
Looking beyond traffic
Visitor counts describe reach, not intent. Racemarket tracks the behaviour that follows a visit, because each step closer to a transaction tells a different part of the market story.

- Unique visitors
- Represents the number of unique visitors recorded on the Racemarket marketplace during the reporting period. Due to GDPR and cookie-consent requirements, analytics can only measure visitors who have consented to tracking. The actual number of visitors is therefore expected to be higher than the reported figure.
- New listings
- Refers to listings published during the reporting month.
- Combined asking value
- Represents the sum of numerical asking prices recorded for listings published during the reporting month. It is not transaction value, sales revenue or an estimate of total market value. Excludes listings added with price not specified.
- Listings marked sold
- Refers to listings from the relevant reporting period that were subsequently marked as sold. This figure should not be interpreted as the total number of transactions completed during the month. Some sellers leave listings active until they expire, while others remove their listings without marking them as sold. These listings are not included in this statistic.
- Buyer enquiries
- Represents enquiries submitted by users to sellers through the Racemarket marketplace during the reporting period. This metric includes only enquiries submitted through the marketplace enquiry form and excludes contacts made via phone or WhatsApp.
- Price disclaimer
- Some listings are published with an asking price such as “Ask for price” rather than a numerical value. Because these listings contain no numerical price in the database, they are not included in the combined asking-value calculation. The reported figure therefore represents the minimum recorded asking value of new listings with a numerical price, rather than the total potential value of all listings published during the month.
