GT4 cars are the least powerful in the GT class, but are still equalised in terms of performance to allow the driving skill to become the key to success. Cars cannot be modified by the teams after approval by the FIA, while they all run on the same tires (Pirelli) to further equalize performance. There are several restrictions on driver eligibility as this class is intended for amateurs.
