Was rebuilt from the bodyshell to new
Car has only done 1000km since the build is finished.
What was done:
Body:
E30 320i
Cage with correct connection to front and rear spring domes, door crosses, crosses behind the seats, cross at the rear between the domes, roof strut. In addition, a strut was added under the dashboard and at the rear between the domes (dome strut).
Additional differential mounting on the body.
Completely blasted; interior grey, exterior red painted with 2K lacquer, no water-based paints.
Axles:
VA: K-Sport coilover suspension; 320mm K-Sport brake disc; AP Racing 4 piston fixed caliper; Ferrodo 2500 pads; M3 eccentric bearings, uniball bearings included; new spherical bearings; new wheel bearings; blasted, metalised, painted yellow.
HA: K-Sport coilover suspension; 280mm K-Sport brake disc; AP Racing 2 piston fixed caliper; Ferrodo 2500 pads; rigid spherical bearings (welded); axle bearings made of PU; toe, camber adjustable; stub axles reinforced and braced (similar to early DTM); axle carrier reinforced; new wheel bearings; blasted, metallised, painted yellow.
Interior:
Pedals: AP Racing pedal box; 3 pedals; AP Racing master cylinder for clutch and brake.
Seats: Sparco Circuit LF2; Sparco Sprint; Schroth GT3R harnesses.
Tank:
A tank has been built which is inserted into the rear of the spare wheel well; total +-70L; catchtank +-1L as well as reserve tank +- 2L ...
integrated; 3 high performance pumps (main, catch, reserve).
Engine:
M30B35 from an E34
Block re-drilled and re-honed due to piston skew; cyl. 6 cylinder liner fitted; block planned.
Higher compression ratio (+-10.0:1) due to forged pistons; forged connecting rods; pistons and connecting rods balanced and matched (weight difference between opposing piston and connecting rods units max. 0.1gramm).
Crankshaft finely balanced with master weights.
Oil pump checked; overpressure valve bearing of own design (longer guide); new control piston; spring guide of own design (better guide, higher preload, vent lowered).
Engine completely resealed; new timing chains; new plain bearings; new chain tensioner.
New valve stem guides, new valve stem seals; cylinder block planned; valve seats newly milled; intake ducts extended; new rocker arms, rocker arm shafts; new valves (intake and exhaust); new camshaft; cylinder block completely resealed.
Intake manifold for M30 with Jenvey single throttle bodies (custom made! Milled!); 6 Jenvey SF 48 - 43 tapered body single throttle bodies;
Sequential ignition system in Wasted Spark principle;
Kdfi 1.4 ECU
Exhaust from W-Performance, stainless steel with valve control.
