This vehicle is a stunning and utterly unique classic in perfect condition. It has been converted into an SLR sports car.
The modifications are period-correct, as these models were produced in small batches using 190 SL chassis. This SLR was the 102nd vehicle to be built, with the body number 000325.
This is also recorded in the Mercedes-Benz data sheet.
To ensure this SLR could be registered for road use, a few minor modifications had to be made to meet TÜV requirements.
The side exhaust pipes had to be relocated to the left-hand side, the windows replaced with safety glass, and a windscreen wiper fitted.
As a result, the SLR is road-legal and is an absolute asset to any classic car event.
There is also nothing to prevent it from taking part in the Mille Miglia. The vehicle registration document also lists the car as an SLR. The paintwork is modelled on the original SLR on display at the Mercedes-Benz Museum. All the details can be seen in the latest photographs.
