This Sierra was built and raced in Italy in 1986/7/8 by Gotti Racing, for use in the Italian Production Saloon Series to Group N Specification. It is a genuine Ford Cosworth 909 Motorsport body shell built to production spec by Ellio Gotti, with subtle modifications carried out using their extensive experience in preparing Group N and group A circuit and rally cars.
Engine - group N modified YB 700 Kms since rebuild by Oppliger Motorsport
Gearbox - T5 rebuilt 700 Kms by Oppliger Motorsport
Differential - 7.5” with plate type LSD internals recently rebuilt
The chassis, suspension and installation is all very original and in good condition.
Having never been used on the road it is rot free and cleans up incredibly well. There is some evidence of minor crash damage to the LF as to be expected from a period racing car that has been repaired to a very high standard.
Having just been sympatheticly restored at renown race car speciaists Premier Motorsport.
Supplied with a new Corbeau seat and seat belts (fitted), New fire extinguisher system, this is a genuine race ready Sierra Cosworth, which is a perfect opportunity to run on a sensible budget (A fraction of GPA Car's).
