Absolutely iconic car based on a Clio 2, commissioned by Renault Sport, converted by Tom Walkinshaw into the Clio V6 Phase 1 and it is now for sale to a true enthusiast.
This limited edition car was built in 2002 and imported from Germany by myself in 2017 and driven daily for 3 years.
In 2020, the Clio V6 was completely restored by a Renault Sport specialist to bring the car in perfect technical condition, both exterior and interior.
So you are not buying a project, but a roadworthy sports car!
To enumerate the list of renewed and modified parts here is too much, hence a brief summary of what has been done in mid-2020:
- Engine and gearbox taken out and engine compartment tightened.
- Overhauled engine.
- Complete clutch with hydraulic thrust bearing replaced.
- Belt and water pump replaced.
- Tensioners replaced.
- New alternator.
- New starmotor.
- New multi belt.
- Front and rear subframes incl. suspension blasted and powder coated.
- Remanufactured brake hoses.
- All-round new shock absorbers from a Clio v6 Phase 2.
- All silent blocks replaced.
- Wheel spacers front and rear.
- Increased steering angle.
