Available for sale is an original 2003 Sauber C22 Formula 1 car, Chassis No.: 03.022.01. This exceptional piece of motorsport history boasts an impeccable provenance, having been purchased personally and directly from Peter Sauber.

Model Background:
The Sauber C22 was the Formula One car that Sauber Petronas used to compete in the 2003 Formula One season and was the third car designed for the team by Willy Rampf. Driven by Nick Heidfeld and Heinz-Harald Frentzen, the C22's most successful race came at the United States Grand Prix at Indianapolis, where they scored 10 points with Heidfeld finishing in 5th place and Frentzen achieving a podium finish of 3rd. The team finished sixth in the 2003 Constructors' Championship.

The car offered here is Chassis 01, the very first of the series. It is currently configured as a rolling chassis. A Petronas 03A V10 show engine is also available and can be included to complete the authentic visual presentation for display purposes.

This chassis presents a rare opportunity for high-end collectors or serves as the perfect foundation for a historic racing conversion (e.g., Judd V10).
