1. Engine: 105KM at 7000 rpm, 121Nm at 5100 rpm. (recent braking chart), 4 throttle bodies (Hayabusa), 4 fuel injectors (BMW), the sharpest camshaft – from Świątek, adjustable timing gear, bespoke – from Świątek, machined cylinder head – made by Mr Strozik, planed, large valves – the largest that would fit, both intake and exhaust, double valve springs, balanced crankshaft, connecting rods and pistons, new piston rings, stainless steel pipe exhaust (4-2-1), wrapped in bandage, Master ECU, oil cooler, lightened flywheel, new oil sump. Crankshaft balanced, ground, reassembled on new main and connecting rod bearings.
2. Gearbox (5-speed), short-throw, NEW final drive ratio 10x59 + NEW RSX limited-slip differential, 4-plate sintered clutch.
3. Suspension: Bilstein ‘thick strut’, adjustable front coil-over, new Bilstein shock absorbers, rear shock absorbers with reduced travel – housings sandblasted and powder-coated, springs shortened and powder-coated, all assembled at ZERKOPOL. Additional rear anti-roll bar, front strut brace, adjustable front suspension camber. Suspension and engine/gearbox mounts on yellow polyurethane mounts.
4. Brakes: front – milled and drilled EBC Turbo Groove discs (new with warranty), Ferodo DS3000 pads; rear – converted to Fiat 500 Abarth discs + hydraulic handbrake and brake force compensator; soft Hell steel braided hoses (new) front and rear.
5. Bodywork: ALL MOVING PARTS MADE OF CARBON FIBRE – i.e.: two pairs of doors, with honeycomb inserts – door panelling as per Appendix “J” – weight 3.5 kg; bonnet with an additional engine air intake from a Subaru Impreza GT – weight 2.8 kg; front wings – weight 0.5 kg, tailgate – weight 1.8 kg – ALL MADE FROM “CARBON” COMPOSITE MATERIAL (not to be confused with fibreglass; set costing 15,000 zł), very faithful to the original. All windows (except the windscreen) are made of certified polycarbonate (4 mm), with sliders in the door windows. Weight reduced by at least 70 kg.
Bodywork widened to accommodate 7-inch-wide aluminium rims (INTRA), fitted with SLICK tyres available at ...
standard prices in the following sizes: 200/540/R13 – Pirelli P-Zero, or 180/550/R13 – Hankook Ventus, from Formula One (there are no narrow slicks available for 13-inch rims). A full range of compounds is now available: hard, medium, soft, super-soft. Roof air intake. Rear spoiler fitted. Small wing mirrors.
Reinforced, sound bodywork; replaced sills; fully repainted (the car had one racing ‘adventure’).
Newly applied MARTINI RACING graphic wrap across the entire bodywork, plus a range of accessories from the brand.
6. Equipment: dashboard (new) displaying: engine revs, speed, oil pressure, oil temperature, coolant temperature, battery charge, exhaust gas temperature, LEDs – shift lights, option to customise the displayed data to the driver’s preferences, steering wheel (new) RRS (small, 330 mm) with removable hub, bolted roll cage, compliant with Annex ‘J’, Mirco RS2 seats with ‘ears’, RRS harnesses, Hans-compatible, 6-point (new) for driver and co-driver.
7. Electric power steering added. Radiator fan switched on from the cockpit.
8. Underbody plate beneath the engine and gearbox, and a second one beneath the fuel tank.
9. Battery relocated to the boot.
10. Metal gear selector basket with aluminium base (not plastic) + new gear selector cables.
11. Custom A1 RALLY number plates included in the price of the car (cost: 1,000 PLN) :)
12. Some tyres and rims to be agreed upon.
The car has been used very sporadically – it served as a spare training car.
All modifications have been carried out sensibly, thoughtfully and professionally.
The whole build is cohesive and aesthetically pleasing.
The build cost exceeded 100,000 PLN. Honestly. I have receipts for everything.
