Dakar Classic - Mercedes SK/AK 1735 (4x4)

Description

After we took part in the Dakar Classic 2024 we sell our fast, strong and reliable Mercedes 1735 SK/AK (4x4)

We finished on P6 trucks overall and P4 in truck-class TH1 :-)


The truck is from 1992, has done the Dakar in 2007 and several times as assistance truck. Originally (and very well) prepared from „Team Tibau“, comes with german papers and a FIA technical passport.

The Mercedes has:
- CTIS (tyre inflate and deflate from the cockpit)
- 8 Öhlins shocks (all with new and complete service before the rallye)
- 2 tanks (400 + 500 liters, pump between the tanks)
- new dashboard for navigator 1 with fuses, switches, tyre-control-system
- central console for navigator 2 with double trip master (Terratrip)
- new ZN Zero Noise intercom with connectors for three helmets!
- roll cage in the cabin with adaptations to the latest regulations
- roll cage in the rear body
- circuit braker (inside and outside)
- additional SPAL fan
- foldable bed in the rear body
- crane to lift the spare wheels


We‘ve changed or fixed:
– new seats (OMP)
– new brackets (OMP)
– new seatbelts (Sabelt)
– new foam spray fire extinguishers (Fireline)
– new FIA medical kit
– new clutch
– new axle catch straps (front and rear)
– new batteries
– new starter
– new engine mounts
– new oils (engine, gearbox, wheel hubs)
– complete brake service (front and rear)


With the truck will come many many spareparts like:
– 2 wheels with Continental tyres
– 4 Öhlins shocks (new service)
– new turbo
- new cylinder head
- new cylinder liner incl. piston
– new radiator
– new generator
– several filters (oil, air, fuel)
– starter (used)
– injectors
– new waterpump
– new circuit braker
– several mirrors (complete and glasses)
– used rear- and headlights
– new and used windscreen wipers
– and really much much more

We’ve done the Classic in 2022 with a car, this time with a truck and now the desert-adventures are finished. But maybe other motorsport-activities will come ;-)??

If you’ll do the Dakar Classic 2025 this would be the perfect package. Seats, belts, medical kit, fire extinguishers, cage, … everything with valid approval!
