Originally sold in 1964 in the USA, the car was later converted for rallying and participated in many rallies across Europe and beyond. The current owners purchased the car in the UK in 2022 and exported it to Canada to participate in a North American rally. Prior to export it underwent a comprehensive restoration including upgraded suspension, braking, electrical systems and cooling alongside the fitting of electric power steering, neo-vintage seats and harnesses, new intercoms and a tripmeter.
The car participated in a rally in 2023 before an engine failure at the 2500 mile mark forced its retirement. It has since had a full rebuild of the 4.7L 289 Ford V8 Engine, and various additional works, by specialists BMC Motorworks in Vancouver, BC. to put it into top condition for future rally and leisure use.
The car comes with a spares package and is in ready to rally condition.
