Original preparation: Built and prepared over a two-year period (2000–2002) by Gabriele Terzi, the leading Italian specialist in Ford Escort Gr.2 cars.
Rino Righi era (2003–2021): A long and successful career in historic rallies (Sanremo, Elba, Var), renowned for exceptional reliability and numerous titles.
Later fitted with a BDG 2.0 aluminium engine (Tony Thompson, UK).
Complete Restoration & Current Condition
Owner since 2022: Comprehensive, bespoke restoration carried out by specialists Equipe Europe (detailed invoices available).
New/refurbished mechanical components:
New BDG 2.0-litre engine prepared by Geoff Richardson (UK).
New HZF FIA gearbox.
Exhaust system, wiring loom, brakes, suspension and steering fully refurbished.
